The Seedling certification tells you that the product is compostable in an industrial composting facility—not at home. It was created by European Bioplastics, and it’s used across Europe to show that a product meets the EN 13432 standard, which is the official composting standard in the EU. So, if you see the Seedling logo on something, you know it can break down completely and safely—but only under special, high-temperature composting conditions.
