Our Certifications

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) At If You Care, we use only unbleached paper that came from forests which were certified to be responsibly managed in compliance with the rigorous environmental and social standards of the Forest Stewardship Council. Only products labeled as such are FSC certified
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.
Fair Rubber If You Care is a member of the Fair Rubber Association which promotes environment-friendly production of natural rubber. The Fair Rubber logo for products fulfill the criteria of Fair Trade in natural rubber. The Fair Rubber Association in particular ensures the payment of the Fair Trade premium to the rubber tappers, who decide how that money is spent.
Green Seal Green Seal’s rigorous standards for health, sustainability and product performance have driven permanent shifts in the marketplace, empowering better purchasing decisions and rewarding industry innovators. With the Green Seal certification, If You Care has met the highest benchmark of health and environmental leadership.
EU Ecolabel A number of If You Care products boast of the EU Ecolabel which is awarded to products that have a reduced environmental impact throughout their life cycle, from raw materials sourcing, production, usage and disposal.
Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) Denotes certification by the Biodegradable Products Institute to be compostable in commercial or municipal composting facilities in compliance with the U.S. standard ASTM D6400.
OK compost HOME Denotes certification by TÜV Austria as compostable in backyard or home composting facilities.
OK compost INDUSTRIAL Denotes certification by TÜV Austria to be compostable in commercial or municipal composting facilities in compliance with the European standard EN 13432.
Seedling Denotes certification to be compostable in commercial or municipal composting facilities in compliance with the European standard EN 13432.
USDA If You Care products are certified biobased according to USDA standards. They come from renewable resources and provide an alternative to petroleum-based products
SCS Certified Recycled Content This certification validates If You Care’s claim of recycled post consumer content and accurately provides the percentage of recycled content material in our products.
Recycled Paperboard

If You Care packaging is made from 100% recycled paperboard.
